I draw my inspiration from many things: either other forms of art or what is around me.
The thing is that many times inspiration comes out of the blue, unexpected. It is probably being at the right time and at the right place when I am open to receive. This is probably why many photographers, me included, create only an infinitesimal percentage of truly memorable photographs in their lifetime.
I don't believe very much in thought process in the creative field, I try to shut down the analytical part, and when I manage to do that, things get easier and more immediate.
It often happens to me in my outings of being aware not to have shot any image that truly satisfies me. Only when on my way back to the car, after having made peace with myself on the failure, that I am able to see more clearly and images literally pop out in front of me.
